Privacy policy

Effective 2026-11-03. Macro Connect is operated by Coparse, Inc. dba Macro ("Macro", "we"). This policy covers the Macro Connect service at connect.macro.com. Macro's own products are covered by the Macro privacy policy.

What we collect

When you connect a tool through Macro Connect, we store:

• the identifier the product you use gives us for your account, the tool you connected, the permissions (scopes) you granted, and when you connected;
• the OAuth access and refresh tokens the tool issued, encrypted at rest with a per-grant key wrapped by AWS KMS.

When the product you use calls a tool on your behalf, the request and the tool's response pass through Macro Connect to that product. We do not store their contents. We keep operational logs and traces (timing, status codes, error details) to run and secure the service.

How we use it

We use your tokens only to make the requests you ask the connected product to make, and to refresh those tokens. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Google user data

Macro Connect's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect a Google product, Macro Connect requests only the access that product's tools need, and reads or changes your data only when the product you authorized (today, Macro) asks it to on your behalf:

• Google Calendar: your calendars and events, to list, create, and update events;
• Gmail: your messages, drafts, and labels, to search and read mail, draft replies, and label or trash messages;
• Google Drive: your files, to search, create, and copy them;
• Google Docs and Sheets: your documents and spreadsheets, to read and edit them;
• Google Analytics and Search Console: read-only reports for your properties and sites.

Data from Google APIs is passed only to the product you authorized, only to provide the features you use in it, and is not sold, used for advertising, or used to develop or train generalized AI or machine learning models. No person at Macro reads it unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.

Sharing

We share data only with the product you connected the tool to, with the tool itself, and with the infrastructure providers that host the service (Amazon Web Services), or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept while the connection exists. Disconnecting a tool in the product you use deletes its tokens and connection record. To delete all of your Macro Connect data, email support@macro.com. You can also revoke access from the tool's own account settings, for example Google Account permissions.

Security

Tokens are encrypted at rest and in transit. Access to production systems is limited to the people who operate the service.

We will post changes here and update the effective date.
